Karyn Saffro founded Berwick Buddies in 2008, after teaching preschool for 14 years.  All children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. This is a safe environment that allows children to explore and grow. At Berwick Buddies, we want children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, children need to have fun!

   At Berwick Buddies, we offer the children a variety of stimulating activities everyday. Learning at Berwick Buddies is an interactive process and fosters the development of the whole child. We will offer age appropriate toys and educational materials. There will be emphasis on phonics, cognitive awareness, creative expression and socialization. We feel that children should be given choices in order to help them gain confidence and independence. Berwick Buddies provides children with the opportunity to develop self-reliance,  while realizing their own intellectual and creative potential. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.

      

We serve nutritious snacks (fruits and veggies) daily!

Our program starts at 9:00am and Pick-up time is from 2:30-3:00pm

All of our teachers (1:5) pass a rigorous screening and fingerprinting process. We are licensed by the State of California.  Come by for a tour and experience a truly special place in Brentwood Glen!
